Final Day

Today is the last day of Spruce Meadows, we have one more 8 to hook this evening. We are pretty approximate on time, but maybe if you are interested you can look up the tv schedule on Spruce Meadows website.http://sprucemeadows.com/tournament_index.jsp

Spruce Meadows Friday

Last night was another success. Today we are supposed to part of their "parade" then drive around the ring. Everyone cross your fingers that the rain holds off for later today.

More Pictures

So many pretty scenes it's hard to find them all. (It's also hard to run ahead of the hitch...backwards.)

Spruce Meadows Thursday

The first shot is a shot of the awesome "dock and fan" that the girls did. Oh, and that Brian helped with. And the second shot is the girls hightailing it across the course showing off their stuff.  More to come!

Day 3 Spruce Meadows!

Here is the 8 horse hitch in the International ring from yesterday night. The rain held off and we got to roll around the jumps with the ladies. Also a congrats to Darla Loomis our jr helper that made it into the Calgary Sun Times! http://www.calgarysun.com/2011/06/08/hitchin-a-ride-at-spruce#.TfDRmCvTjpY;facebook

Practice makes...perf...or just reasonably better.

This was the front half of the eight, we practiced the back half yesterday. The vet is coming this afternoon to do teeth work for the spring and preg check some mares. If the weather holds we may be hooking the eight this weekend!
